      Tension. It immediately flurried in the air when
       eugene grabbed a hold of the guard, and round
       of gasps from the by standers, and that was
       enough to convince the prince that he had to
       take action to quieten the crowd, calm down
       the other prince at hand, and then find the
       princess.  

                  ’ sir, I kindly ask you to unhand
                    him. we will send out a small
                    patrol to search for highness. ‘

         if not, we can go ourselves. ( a little a d v e n t u r e . )

        “ —- ..”

                                god, he felt so stupid
                                for letting her out of
                                his sight. especially
                                with so many foregin
                                people visiting tonight–

                 and he knew what people
                 were capable of if desperate
                 enough. she wasn’t safe.
                   and it was his fault.

                                                                  “–do that. But I’m
                                                                    going, too.”

      “ Somewhere? Well, hopefully she’s still here — ”

          ( and in came a rather perplexed looking guard,
             the gates slamming open, and his chest heaving
             for breath. ) ;

              the princess is missing !!
              he said. we can’t find her !!

                             ” — or not. “

   wait, what?

                        the princess was
                            m i s s i n g ?

      but he’d only just
      seen her. where’d
      she go? was it a
      mistake?

                                              no matter, eugene turned
                                              to the guard that had announced
                                              the disappearance and he was
                                              grabbed by the collar ; fury
                                              shown on the prince’s features.

                “–she’s what?”

   ”Incredible. Now for me to wonder what other hobbies 
     you’ve picked.“ he teased, snickering behind his hand.

                  “Ah, I haven’t seen the Princess
                   yet. Has she come with you?”

     "Hmm, she’s around here somewhere,”
      Eugene responded and then moved
      his head to glance around. “Somewhere.”
