─── ╭✿ ;; “Kind of? I mean, it isn’t anything life threatening but I don’t… it’s uhm— I-I’m just a little sick, that’s all.”
“You’re sick? Hey, you shouldn’t be up, then– what are you doing out of bed? I like a girl who’s not afraid to rebel a little, but you’re sick and you need r e s t.”
Anna grabs the cotton candy off the cart, opening the bag and pulling out a swirl of blue and pink puffy sugar treat. With a devious look reflecting her eyes she licks the center and places the cotton candy on his nose, through the small hole that dissolved from her saliva.
Revenge!
”Something tells me you always get into sticky situations.”
He turned his head to look at her, an expression that read he should’ve been ready for something like that to happen with knowing how Anna was.
But he wasn’t and so he was paying for it in a rather sticky way.
“–that’s hilarious. But I hope you know what’s coming next.”

Copying what she did, he grabbed some cotton candy and then moved toward her, placing it onto her cheek.
─── ╭✿ ;; It was alarming how comforting being in someone’s embrace was, especially when so much heat was radiating off the two of them. Her shoulders were tensed but Anna made no objections. It had been a long time since she had this sort of comfort. The last time was when… her mother embraced her the night Anna skipped out.
His soft charming voice and hug did the trick, it eased her a bit to think about other things. Like his smell, how she was totally going to avoid mentioning this happening, things like that. A few deep breaths and she was able to relax her shoulders. It still felt like it took ages though.
“Fresh air, thank gods!” Anna commented when they finally emerged, stretching her arms up high.
Anna slunk behind Flynn, following him down the corridor. She staying close to him but occasionally whipped her head behind her to make sure no one was coming from the opposite direction. It was nice of him to take charge and sneak her out. It was evident she owed him, big time.
They were now at the wall and while scaling it by himself would be easier, he had someone else to think about right then. If he could get her up first, then he could figure a way out for himself. It was w e i r d, having to think for someone else. He wasn’t exactly a two-party man. It was much more convenient when he was by himself.
With his back up against the wall, he positioned himself so that she would be able to use him as a climbing tool. Two hands cupped together and she was ushered over to him as they didn’t have much time to waste. “Come on, I’ll throw you up – if I’m not able to come the same way as you, then just keep going. There’s a river not far from here, just keep following along the treeline. I’ll meet you there.”
”We’re close now but it’s not just that, she’s wa— wait It’s… annoying, it’s it? No, no, don’t answer that—! It is. I’m sorry.
Okay, don’t worry. I won’t do it again.”
What Anna meant, and wouldn’t explain, was that she constantly thought about how flawless her sister was.
She always noticed her beauty, that she smelled nice, that she could stand up straight with such ease— every trait Anna wished she could have, Elsa had.
During times when people chose her over Elsa, Anna couldn’t help but think of all her sister’s wonderful traits.
Because it didn’t make sense, Anna wasn’t the interesting sister. Not in the least.
There was a lot of love toward her older sibling and the Queen of Arendelle. It was something to be admired and something to relate to because in a way, he could u n d e r s t a n d. The only difference was that his hero was fictional.
But that didn’t make him any less real.
“–no, it’s fine. It’s just– we’re talking about y o u, not her.”
