She’s a real cutie, not even joking. Her out of character posts are always entertaining but there are times when I want to scoop her up in my arms and just– be there for her. Like the world is a stupid place and maybe I could make a little less stupid if I offer up hugs and cuddles. She’s a talented writer and I’m really excited to write with her more. Let’s create all the threads and let our creativity run wild!
─── ╭✿ ;; She wrinkled her nose at his confusion. Why was he looking at her that way? Was it really so strange she was taking up conversation with him? It was a little weird, sure, but she hardly talks to anyone in the giant castle. This is her chance to really interact with someone from the outside world.
He was also the key to her finally sneaking out without anyone noticing.
”C’mooon, pleeeeease?”
The second she wasn’t getting her say, Anna began to whine.
”Don’t make me bribe it outta you.”
It was definitely strange. She was a princess. Royalty. The exact people he stole from on a regular basis.
And to have her talk to him like they were on the same level in society made his stomach toss and turn. Made him feel something. But only a little.
“Why do you want to know so badly, anyway? Aren’t you supposed to act all proper and high and mighty when amongst your people?”
Not that he considered himself to be a part of the kingdom though.
─── ╭✿ ;; Anna stiffened when he had refuse to let her scoot away.
On one had, it was nice to have the comfort and to feel the warmth of someone while she was frightened but on the other… he was too cute to stay close to like this. Anna felt her cheeks get warm and the feeling spread through out her body. She started to worry, if she felt like a raging fire, what if he could feel it too?
“I’m not—” Her voice squeaked a bit and Anna cleared her throat. “I’m not scared! It caught me off guard, that’s it. Yo-you can let go now."
That time, he let her pull back from him, not intending on forcing anything upon her. He was just there ; if that was for comfort or because he had no where else to go, it didn’t matter. He was still there.
"Alright. So I think we need to make a game plan for once this weather clears up.”

“Are you really that scared?”
Though the question reeked of disbelief that a grown woman was afraid of the storms, he sat down beside her as a form of comfort. Just as she was about to try and defend herself, a loud crack sounded–
and Anna was in his arms.
When she realized what’d happened, she tried to pull away so he kept her from doing so. “–might as well stay like this if you’re going to do that every time.”
Before the coronation, Gerda gave Anna a handful of helpful advice. She told her to be sociable, that it might be intimidating and scary but people were just as intimidated by her because of her status. She had to approach the people she wanted to mingle with…
Her heart was pounding fiercely in her chest when she spoke to him, inviting him to dance— or at least in the way she thought was inviting.
Anna curtsied, “You would? I-I mean, thank you!”
She wanted to squeal in delight but roughly swallowed it down. While Anna worked up the courage to approach the man clad in violet, her brain was also convincing her that she’d be rejected.
”O-oh, wait— it’s probably awkward dancing with someone you don’t even know… uhm, I-I’m Anna.”
And he bowed in return, mentally cursing himself for not being the one to approach her first–
this was, after all, one of his first balls. Being around royalty was still something he wasn’t used to.
“–I am Prince Eugene Fitzherbert, but, uhhh.. Eugene works wonders. It’s definitely my pleasure to meet you, Anna.”
“–and it’s not awkward at all, just.. a different way to meet someone.”
We were born into the world on our own, sometimes we’re lucky enough to have someone who cares about us during life, but eventually something happens and then you’re leftalone–
Anna hastily took it from his hands, clutching it safely to her chest. She was still completely bewildered by this— if thieves were nice, how did they ever get anything done? Not that Anna was complaining, it’s just compared to the stories she’s heard and read from books… this was completely unlike any of that.
Wow… wow, wait until Elsa heard about this! This story alone was sure enough to prompt a response from the elder sister.
”Anna. You can, uh… call me Anna.”
Not like it really mattered, she harshly criticized herself. There wasn’t going to be another time the Princess ran into him.
“…Now, curious minds want to know, to prevent this from happening again… how’d you get in?”
There goes the brow arching when she spits out her name – no, he hadn’t thought this was how it was going to go down. Kindness to someone of a lower standing wasn’t something he seen much of, but he was a thief.
She’d just been robbed by him, and she was intent on displaying kindness. Now she was either dumb and naive, or she was humoring him.
She kept moving her thumb, smiling widely at him. But there’s no real reaction, just a deadpan stare. The smile on her face fell. “…You think I’m crazy, don’t you?”
“Well if you think I think you’re sane, then you’re definitely insane.”
